What's for dinner - Thursday

Aside from a big, heaping bowl of "make it work!" (a la Project Runway) I think me and the girlchild (eldest) are heading to Denny's). I'll probably have an omelet.

Here's what else I've had today:

1. Blue plate special (one slice double fiber toast, two scrambled eggs with cheese)
2. Half a roast beef and turkey sandwich on 9-grain with some chili

Once I have my omelet I might be good for the night. I plan to stop and get me some cottage cheese though so I might have some of that later this evening if I'm up.

What's on your plate?

Hey there. Saw this on my phone last night and wanted to respond.

May I ask how much protein your protein powder has? I ask because 2 tbsp peanut butter adds 200 calories, 17g of fat but only 7g of protein to a shake. You didn't ask me so I don't want to play food police, but peanut butter really isn't a great deal for your protein shake and so I thought I'd ask.

Don't be mad at me!!!

My protein powder has 23 grams so 30 gms isn't bad for a meal. :)

Actually you are short changing yourself 8 grams if you are using milk, it's actually 38 which is very not bad. Again, wasn't trying to police you. I just wanted to make sure it was a good trade-off.
