Congratulations on the great job that you are doing with your weight loss. Secondly, I understand all to well those Mississippi Moms. It's my party and my guest list! I would gently sit her down and praise her for the great job she is doing and remind her that your son would like to be with all of his relatives and that you and your sister n law would be glad the make extra dishes so there will be plenty of food to go around. Remind her what an awesome person she is. You got to kill us moms and grandmoms with extra kindness, we will fold every time.
