What is a stall, according to you?

Another post just had me thinking.... what exactly is a stall?

To me, and that's just TO ME, I would categorize anything over a few days, maybe a week sitting at the same weight as a stall or a small plataeu.  I think we hit small/short stalls of maybe a few days or a week and then we sometime**** big/long stalls that can span weeks and months.

But I'm curious how everyone else categorizes it. I read an article that categorized a "true stall" has when the SCALE stops moving AND you are not losing inches but I read on here how "during a stall the scale will stop moving but you'll be surprised that you'll be losing inches during that time".

Just curious.

I only consider it a stall if it lasts for several weeks.  Going for a few days without losing anything is just normal, typical weight loss.  If that's a stall, many of u**** stalls almost every week.

I think it is not losing pounds for over a week. BUt the inches do come off as the body is refiguring itself.
