I agree that the clerk was a jerk and frankly I cannot support strongly enough that you write a letter to the corporate office. They need this kind of feedback. They need to understand that as adults, we have money to spend, and we will take it where we are welcomed and not judged!

I shop at Aero regularly at the local outlet malls and have never had a problem. I shop for my kids, when I know things are on sale. The clerks have always been awesome to me, so I know it's not a company culture.

Call the manager or call the corporate office..that needs to be addressed and they need to send their clerks to sensitivy training..No excuses..they're in a customer centered industry and if they aren't making the customers feel welcome, ALL OF THEM..then they need to find another line of work.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I was at Dress Barn once shopping for my daughter, who needed a dress for a ceremony. She was a size 9/10 at the time. One of the salesladies walked over to me and said, "These are the regular sizes. The plus sizes are on the other side."

Ummmmmm, thanks, idiot. I informed her I was looking for a dress for my daughter so I was on the right side. She was mortified, but really, how stupid is that? Its like walking up to someone who has a belly and asking them when their baby is due.

Scarlet you have NO idea how bad THAT can be. Our one mail carrier (no longer doing mail deliveries btw) saw me outside in one of my sundresses and gets out of her truck to walk a package to our door. I offered to take it and she said, "Oh no let me do it, I wouldn't want anyone in your condition to lift this heavy thing." uh eyebrow goes up and question asked of, "What condition?" " Well aren't you pregnant?" again eyebrow goes up and a smirk crosses my face while I am saying " NOPE just fat." THe look on her face was priceless. Told the hubby what I am had done and he kinda giggled about it then told me I am NOT fat but if it got her to rethink stuff then ehhh.
