nectarines vs. peaches

I love nectarines and have been enjoying them for a few weeks (I'll be 8 weeks out tomorrow) so when I found peaches on sale I thought I would forgo my beloved $2/ lb nectarines for .87 cents/ lb peaches.  Bad idea.  Who would have thought a peach would make me feel so awful when a nectarine goes down just fine?  And, in case you are wondering, I do not eat the peel.  Would anyone hazard a guess as to why this would be?

I can actually handle canned peaches but today I had a sweet nectarine and it was too sweet for me!

Try again!  Maybe it was the peach.  8)
Else, you might try baked peaches with a dollop of greek yogurt.

I can only eat about a half of a peach. If I eat the whole thing, I too feel sick.

I have the same experience. I can eat neatarines, but peaches hurt my pouch. Very strange! I remove the skin as well.
