Oh Yeah banana protein shake

Hmm.  I was gonna try one of the vanilla ones as is and then try adding something to the other one.  I like making shakes with vanilla protein and some Maxwell House International French vanill cafe mix so I might try that.

Try the banana one and see if you like it.

Kelly I tried the banana one and it was good. I didn't love it as I am not a big fan of banana but it was okay, I didn't gag on it...lol  HOWEVER, I tried the strawberry one today and couldn't drink it. It smelled horrible and tasted nasty (IMO). I even held my nose thinking maybe it would be better if I couldn't smell it but it wasn't. I can't stand the smell of most protein shakes, especially RTD ones. My Nut says I should get a sippy cup so I can't smell them but I really don't think that will help. Have you tried the strawberry one yet? Let me know if you like it. I still haven't tried the cookies-n-cream one but after my experience with the vanilla and especially the strawberry one, I am very leary.

I didn't like the strawberry one much either.  And I haven't tried the vanilla yet.  A lot of people do think it helps to drink them from a sippy cup, or one of those bottles with the pop up spout.  I don't know what they're really called.  You know what I mean?  Like some bottles of water you buy have?

I love love the Total Lean I think it is from GNC and I got the RTD for after surgery, thinking it would be easier for me to just open and go...for the first week or so..then I got to thinking I know that it will be hard for me to get all my protein in the first weeks so could I add powder to the RTD to up the protein? I have a friend who had rny last fall and she has a lot of yum recipes and I can't wait to try them out, but I am thinking the first week or so out...then I'll get more creative

Yes, you can add powder to the RTD ones to up the protein.  Someone is probably gonna post on here that you can only absorb 30 grams of protein at a time, but that is just a myth.  You can absorb more.  Just keep in mind that adding powder to them will affect the flavor and maybe also the texture.  I did RTD ones the first couple weeks too because they were easier.

Hi, where can i get samples of Oh Yeah protein shakes?  Also what store sells these?  I live on the southeast  coast, so not sure if I have the same stores around here.  Does GNC sell this product?  thanks for you help.  Jackie

Here's where I ordered the samples.  www.issresearch.com/osb/showitem.cfm
I'm not sure if you can buy them in stores or not.  I don't recall seeing them at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe but I never specifically looked for them, either.

I get them at the Vitamin Shoppe.  They even have the larger bottles that have 32g protein.  That's the ones I buy.  I went to Meijers yesterday, and they had the Oh Yeah smaller bottles (18g protein) 4 packs.  They are my favorite too.  I have only the chocolate ones.  I have a case of Believe that I need to finish then I'll stock up on more Oh Yeah.  Does anyone know if they make a powder version?

Wow, I'll have to look at Meijer for them.  I bet they are reasonably priced there.  Where in the store would they be?
