BA caramel calcium chews

I just got my BA caramel calcium chews in the mail today.  They aren't bad but I don't love them like I love the Calcet creamy bites.  You  know what I think they taste like?  Remember that Bit 'o Honey candy?  Do they still make that stuff?  I haven't seen it in years.  Anyway, that's what they taste like.  Not exactly like caramel.  Not bad, though.

Hmmmm... makes me glad I ordered the lemon ones - I'd hate to be stuck with 3 bags of something that's just so-so.

Hey where do you get the lemon ones? I got some caramel ones last week at GNC but I'm thinking I don't need them and need calcium citrate instead, based on what the nutritionist gave me??? I'm confused!!

Thanks for saying that; I couldn't quite place what the caramel chewy bites tasted like!  Agreed - they aren't great, but they aren't bad.  Won't be getting the caramel again.

I *heart* the calcet creamy bites too!

We all have such different tastes. I happen to love these and it's made it really easy to get my calcium in. In fact, I sort of feel like I'm getting dessert when I have them after my meal. I literally ordered 8 bags today! Anyway, I hope you can get through the bag. If not, let me know...I'll take them! :)

I really like the caramel ones.  I have only tried them at my surgeons office & at support group, but I ordered a package today (payday) and I can't wait to get them.  I like to mix & match.  I eat the caramel w/ chocolate and the lemon w/ raspberry.  Tastes like rasbperry lemonade.

I agree the Caramel tastes like Bit-O-Honey (which I used to LOVE!)

2 votes for bit o honey?  Hmm...now I am torn.  I wouldn't order caramel as I can take or leave it.  But I always did like bit o honey.

But now that I think of it I only ate it occasionally.  A whole bag of it might be too much for me to handle.

Decisions, decisions.

Really, I'm just thrilled that I have managed to get one bottle ahead on my multi's month.  I'm set for muti's until Jan!

mmmmm, I absolutely LOVE these. They are the ONLY reason I can gag down as much calcium as I have to each day (4000mg). I have to alternate them with the Citracal Petites because of the sugar alcohols though.

Just goes to show how different we all are, doesn't it? No wonder there's no "perfect" protein shake to recommend to all new post-ops!!!!

Since you take so much calcium daily, have you considered Up-Cal D (they are 500 mg per single-serve packet)?  I really like it.  You can put it in anything and it has no taste.  I put it in my drinks.  I use 3-single serving packets a day and then finish the day with my "dessert" of 2 BA calcium chews.
