Not sure how im doing. Went to the doctors yesterday and they said im doing great. I just wanna check and see where everyone else is that had surgery around my time...or ppl *****member where they were at my stage.

I have lost 57lbs totoal (24 pre op) so actually 33lbs since surgery. I havent hit any stalls but today makes it 1 weeks since Ive had a loss. I know its normal and was waiting for it to happen but it is nerve racking! I hope I lose the weight I want to!

Just wanted some input. Thank you!

I've lost 50 total, 51 with the pound I lost this past week. I lost 15 preop, so 36 post op. I feel like I'm in the midst of a stall. It is nerve racking, isn't it? I knew it was bound to happen too, but I don't know that it makes it all that easier to handle. But now is the time to dig in and make sure that we're eating what we should and working in exercise.

I just hope this stall won't last very long!

Why is it we have such a hard time believin' when our doctors tell us we are doing great?  I do the same.  On some level - cellular or spiritual, I can acknowledge that my weight loss is pretty wonderful, but question too if it wonderful enough?  But there I go again, way overthinkin' things.

I believe you are doing fantastic, and I think I'm doing awesomely well.  I know that if I (we) keep doing what Dorrie said in Findining Nemo..."just keep swimming" we'll all eventually get to where we are headed.

I've lost 31 pounds since surgery and, when combined with pre-op loss of 30, wow...them's some pretty awesome numbers.  I'm loving going shopping in my closet for old/newly fitting clothes and feeling so much "lighter" on my feet, in my knees, ankles and hips.

I suggest it's time to disengage our overthinkin' processes, and just keep swimmin'....

Smiles,
Chris

Sounds like you are doing great to me. I'm having to battle the same 5-7 over and over due to two rounds of Prednisone for an allergic reaction. Makes it very frustrating!

Keep up the great work!

I think we are all on the same page.  I have now lost 31 lbs since surgery and feeling pretty good.  I feel like I have lost more inches then lbs.  Made the mistake of not measuring myself before surgery :(.

I had to get a new bra all ready which i was not happy about (hee hee ha ha),  and my current clothes are very loose!  I am grateful for what I have lost, however, also hit a week and half stall.   I am keeping the faith knowing that stalls are normal and as reccommended by the Nut keeping up with the protein.  I heard from my Nut  if you do not get enough protein it can contribute to stalls?  I go in for my three month post op next week.  Yeah!!!

I am 8 weeks out and have lost 36 since surgery, 38 pre-op. Sounds like we are all pretty close.

I am 7 weeks out and have lost 30 lbs. I had lost 37 lbs pre-op. It makes me feel better to know we are all around the same. I also had a "stall" that lasted 1 week where I actually gained 3 lbs. I think I was retaining fluid as my legs and ankles were a lil swollen. This week I have taken those 3 lbs back off plus 2 more! We are all doing great! I also made the mistake of not measuring myself before surgery and I think I am losing inches too. I can't find my measuring tape so i guess I will have to go buy a new one.
