For me it was/is cottage cheese. Wouldn't go near the stuff pre-op, then I had this intense love affair with it (topped w/fiber one) for a month or 2. Now the love affair has ended, its been months since I had any. I plan on retrying it soon!

This is a fun question.  I enjoyed reading everyone's answers...

Before surgery I didn't want anything to do with lemon or lemon flavored things...  Now, I like just about anything that has lemons in it or lemon flavoring.  I love the lemon calcium chews, lemon Propel or lemon Fruit 2O, lemon-pepper chicken, fresh lemon in water, fresh lemon squeezed over fish, etc...

Another is olives (any variety) and Dill Pickles...  I didn't even want a pickle to touch a sandwich or hamburger pre-op, now I spread laughing cow cheese on some sliced ham or turkey and wrap it around a pickle spear and it is so delish!

I too crave salty foods and my bp is around 107/75 which is way lower than it ever was pre-op...  hummm...  things that make me go hummm...

Loved red meat pre-op, post-op, I can't eat it. It's a texture thing now. Just don't want it. Pre-op I liked cantelope but now I can't get enough of it. I would love to have some now.
