During the pureed stage when you are able to eat Cream of Wheat and oatmeal, can you also eat grits???

Hi there,

You sure can.... just make them a little 'looser' than usual. They're good, easy to eat, friendly to your pouch... but there isn't much nutrition in it.

can? sure... should you? not so much.
In the early stage - you may want to concentrate on proteins, proteins, proteins.  After you can get 80 gr of protein per day... plus all the water - if you still can get some food in -  grits may do just fine...

Sure can.  It's one of the things on a sample breakfast menu for me for getting starches into my diet.  Haven't had them yet, but I can't wait to have one with my morning egg!
