I met my husband on plentyoffish.com.  It was a really good experience for me using that site.

I met my husband on eHarmony. I love him dearly and he is my best friend. That's saying something since my long time best friend is freakin awesome! Anyhoo, I was really nervous about meeting someone online since I can be disgustingly shy but I'm glad I did. He's one of the best things that has ever happened to me and the most supportive person in my life. We dated for a year and then got married on our 1 year anniversary. We've been married 9 months.

Run for the hills...lol

I will never join another online dating site again.

I had a paid subscription with match.com. I chatted with at least 7 guys who said they lived in my town but were really from another country. I found this out when I asked for their phone number and called them-they spoke broken English and had foreign accents though their pictures did not reflect this.

I met quite a few on plentyofish.com (free site). They were nice but no chemistry.

I need to meet someone initially in person. That way I can tell right away if the chemistry is there rather than wasting my time trying to determine motives, etc online.

I am probably too picky, but I don’t want to settle.

I wish you the best of luck if this is the avenue you wish to pursue.
