Wondering what people's experiences have been with things like match.com, eHarmony, etc.?  I have my own very limited experience, but am considering giving it another shot...

I have been to 2 weddings of people that have met on them. But know 4 others that are dating or engaged.

I myself met hubby online in a debate forum. We got to know each other online for 9 months chatting and getting to know one another. It was the best thing. The day we met we were together fromthen on out.

Go for it I say.

Do you ever go to the singles forum?  There are lots of post about experiences (good and not so good) with online dating.  You might try reading some of those.

I haven't tried any, not ready to try dating since my divorce just yet.

Duh... why didn't I think of that?!?

I was over there once a year or so ago and didn't see much discussion so have not been back there.

Thanks for the idea!

I'm so glad somebody has had success with POF. Every guy I met there is a BUST.

Most of the ones I met on p.o.f were a bust for me too! One guy even 'tried' to demand full body pictures before he would meet me for a coffee...what the heck?! who does that?!

I met my current boyfriend on Plenty Of Fish.com. I have never had a connection with anyone else like I do with him.

I know of 2 couples that met online and are now married.

I have tried Match & Eharmony... but those are quite expensive. I would suggest trying Plenty of Fish first. It's free...and it really is JUST AS GOOD as Match & Harmony... and I personally thought there was more of a variety of men on Plenty of Fish.

GOOD LUCK!

and you should give it another try... even if you just look... there's nothing wrong with that!
