What I don't miss......
Last night I saw a friend that I had not seen since before surgery. Her first question was "Don't you miss food??" I said yes but let me share with you what I don't miss!!!
I don't miss my larger sized clothes.
I don't miss worrying about whether or not I will be able to enjoy Six Flags with my kids.
I don't miss feeling horrible about myself as I stuff my mouth full of food.
I don't miss my high blood pressure and migraines.
She was caught off guard I think because that was the end of that conversation. So....what do you NOT miss???

I don't miss:
- Plus size clothes (and the limited styles and quality available)
- Worrying about whether or not I would be able to fit in a seat/booth/chair
- Enduring the rude comments (made just loud enough to be heard, of course) and nasty looks from strangers
- Getting winded by one flight of stairs, walking any significant distance, etc.
- Having people treat me as if I was stupid just because I was fat
Mostly, what I do NOT miss is feeling trapped by the weight and hopeless about the possibility of changing it!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I don't miss Lane Bryant and their ridiculously overpriced and sometimes non-stylish clothes
I don't miss outweighing my husband by 100+
I don't miss bumping into everything with my butt.
I don't miss THE SHAME
I don't miss the competition with my family (who's lost what, who's doing better than me, what I should/shouldn't be eating/doing).
I don't miss feeling like I'm "less than", back when I was more.

I do not miss most foods.
The only one I really miss is bread. Still can't have that. Anything else - I can eat, even a little, or make a substitute. (RNY friendly)
