VIACTIV

Does anyone take viactiv?? Just wondering if this would be easier to take than horse pills?

Sadly, Viactiv is calcium carbonate and we need calcium citrate... so no, we can't use them.

It's too bad because they are pretty tasty!  I've found that the calcium citrate chewy bites by Bariatric Advantage are pretty good and similar... the chocolate ones to me taste kinda like Tootsie Rolls, and the lemon ones taste like Starbursts.  The raspberry ones are good, too...

And don't forget the new carmel ones, OMG, they are good.

I use only Bariatric Advantage chews, I can't get the horse pills down, so I don't have alot of choice, I don't like the tart chewables either, so I stick with the chocolate, lemon, rasberry and carmel, it's like getting a candy treat several times a day.

Ooooh, I didn't know they came out with carmel ones!  I will definitely try them... thanks for the tip!

Oh they are good, just got done eating 2 of them.  And all of them are on sale right now, buy 2 get 1 free, but it looks like you have to get all the same flavor to get the free bag, still a good deal IMO.

I love these too...where are you getting the buy 2 get 1 free?  I need more.

Do you know how long they're buy 2 get one free?  and where?  If I get a job soon they are so mine!!!

 So on the Bariatric chews, you have to take 6 a day to get at least 1500 mg right?

Correct... luckily they are yummy!

I like the chocolate BA chews as well. I will warn you though..they have sugar alcohols. If I use this as my only calcium source for the day I will suffer...or should I say my family will suffer. Sugar alchols= deadly gas.
I use half chews and half other things. I mix it up.
