What's for diner - Thursday!

I have been having the same damn dinner every night. I get latched onto things and just can't let go of it.

For me: Mexican sausage and peppers (recipe tomorrow on BF!)

The rest of the day:

1. Protein apples & cinnamon oatmeal
2. 6 inch Subway sub, turkey breast and ham - lettuce, tomato, onion, olives, banana peppers and a tiny squirt of Southwest Chipotle sauce.
3. Strawberry Protein shake (not generally fond of them but for some reason I was starving and it was better than buying a chocolate bar, which is what I wanted)

I'm in a salty mood today. I think it's cuz I had the oatmeal this morning and then the shake this afternoon. I'm like that. I can't have too much sweet stuff. I get sick of it easily. But give me savory all day long!

L - Leftover turkey meatballs and 1 deviled egg

Unhealthy chicken sandwhich from wendys. I've eaten maybe 200 calories in two days so this is my "kindey stone meal"

I am grilling some BBQ ribs and also having some carrot sticks.
I am making the hubby a twice baked potato as well.
For a snack later, I might have a small apple.

Popping in here...after being MIA...again, after I said I wouldn't! lol

We had baked chicken breast with italian seasoning and this 'perfec pinch' seasoning called garlic and parmesane. It was really good! Along with some Saute' Reds by Alexia. It is red potatoes (Yes, I eat carbs on occasion! *GASP*), green beans, onion, and baby portabelo mushrooms. Yummy!!

I'm at about 1200 calories and 104 grams of protein today and trying very hard to keep my hand out of the trail mix bowl. I just started working out again post baby, 8 weeks postpartum and taking it slow and steady, so I'm trying to figure out where my calories need to fall in order for me to get the 15 or so pounds left (at least) I want to lose off. Oy. I hate playing the calorie game.

Thanks! A beautiful blond haired blue eyed girl! She was 8lbs 1oz and 21 inches long. I only gained 2lbs during my pregnancy...and that was in the last week or so with water (I was induced at 41w). So I can't blame any of the weight I have left to lose on baby weight! lol

I'm finally catching on to motherhood and love it. Hardest most rewarding job ever, but you know that with your two beautiful divas! :)

Oh the girls...they are wonderful until they hit 10. Then they are little moody, emotional, defiant balls of hormones for a few years. That's where I am right now.

But I still adore my girls.

Breakfast: 3.5 oz of High Protein Greek Yogurt.
Snack: Special K Protein Water.
Lunch: 1 Hard Boiled Egg...only the white part.
Snack: 5 Small Protein Crackers.
Dinner: 3 oz of Baked Salmon w/ Lemon Juice and Pepper.
Before Bed: 5.5 oz Diet V8 Splash.
Plus a whole lot of water throughout the day.

Feeling a little blah... I think I'll watch LA Ink and pat my chihuahua to cheer myself up. :)

I hope everyone is healthy, happy, and loved tonight...
