What's for dinner - Wednesday

Oh Holy Carbs! It's Wednesday. Church dinner! Ah...

The only downer is that the divas are away. I miss them. But as my grandmother used to say "one monkey don't stop no show" so off to church dinner I will go!

Here's what I've had today:

1. Omelet with 1 egg + 1 egg white, two slices of turkey bacon and some Mexican blend cheese with salsa and a dab of Greek yogurt on top.

2. CVS Protein shake (see my post about the CVS protein powder)

So all that amounts up to about 500-ish calories meaning, I get to have fun at dinner. Toodles!

Oh yeah...what's on YOUR plate?

I haven't eaten anything in two days because of my painful ass kidney stone so

I am going to have hummus and crackers.
And later a protein shake.

It was very good but the recipe needs tweaking. So we took the inside of the zuchinni out when it was raw and stuffed it and then baked it, it turned out ok, but I think it would be better to bake the whole zuchinnis first for a few (like when making spaguetti squash) and then open them up, remove the inside and actually mix it with the ground turkey and stuff them, put cheese on top and bake them.

I am going to try it this way next time I find some at the Farmer's Market. :)

Well breakfast was a slice of left over grilled zucchini, and a couple oz. of left over grilled chicken.
Lunch was low fat yogurt
snack about two cups of micro popcorn
dinner about 2/3 of a couple of spaghetti and meat sauce

breakfast is my hardest meal so I often eat left overs in the morning, it works for me!
