Anytime i am alone for supper I eat fish.  Thaws quickly, cooks quickly and I love it.  In the fall and winter, hubby bowls 2 nights a week and I eat fish.  He gets take out on the way home at 9:30.  I have hated this summer not getting my fish.

Hi Kelly..... what did you end up doing for dinner?  I'm not much of a cook so I rely on salads a lot..... just lettuce, tomato, and carrots topped with whatever protein I feel like (cut up chicken or turkey or a can of tuna packed in olive oil).   That's what I'm eating now - salad with tuna on top.  That's why I love the tuna packed in olive oil - it's like built-in salad dressing.  I drizzle the olive oil from the can over the salad makings and then dump the tuna on top.... sprinkle on some seasonings (I have a great garlic and herb mix by McCormick), and dinner is served.

YUM!  I LOVED grilled cheese pre-op.... especially with cheddar or Swiss.  I haven't tried it since my RNY.  I don't really eat bread except occasionally I'll have the P28 protein bread.  Hmmmm... that might make a mighty good grilled cheese!  I'll have to get a loaf of that next time I order from Netrition.

I usually make mine with Swiss.  I get reduced fat  Swiss.  I also like tomato on it.
