On a lighter note...I need some cheese assistance...
Nik, Eggy has some good recipes using Brie, the Brie bites she makes are very yummy. The thing I dont like about Brie is the rind, it always has a musty funky smell and taste, so I peel it off and eat the heck outta the cheese. Sometimes I let it soften, stew some cranberries and splenda together, and drizzle a bit of that on a blob of cheese, then wrap it in a bit of butter lettuce and pop it in my mouth...gooey cheese sweet tart heaven!
On the BRIE cheese...I am wondering if it is just the rind that you don't like or just the whole cheese. It's the part around the real soft gooey cheese (it is edible) some people don't care for it...I don't like the rind of BRIE. But BRIE can be used with so many things...TURKEY/Fresh cranberry sauce, slices of BRIE and LTO (lettuce tomatoe and red onion) YUMMO!
