Chicken tikka masala question??

I have a tikka masala sauce in a jar and I was thinking of putting it over chicken in the crockpot for several hours but I'm not sure it will mess up the sauce. It is a cream/yogurty based sauce. Will cooking it for a long time change it? I'm too lazy to make it how I'm supposed to with unfreezing of the chicken and putting it in the pan..... I was also thinking it would be more flavorful in the crockpot. I know this is random. Any thoughts?

Stick it in the crockpot.  That's how I make mine, but I make a homemade sauce with greek yogurt as well.  If you cook it in the crockpot your house will not only smell delicious, but the chicken will be more tender.  I am making BBQ Pork tonight and I threw the frozen pork, my homemade sauce and seasonings in the crockpot.  By 6pm tonight it will be fork tender.

I think I'll be making Tikka Masala tomorrow night.  Bobby Flay's recipe on Food Network's site is amazing.

Thanks. I threw it in the crockpot. I bet it will be good.

What is the recipe for your bbq sauce? I would love to make a bbq chicken dish in the crockpot.

Can you tell I love the crockpot? It makes me feel like i am actually cooking!
