How much do you fluctuate weight-wise?

Just curious as to what other people's 'normal' weight fluctuations are during the month?  I seem  to fluctuate up or down 10 lbs depending on fluid intake, time of the month and especially the weather! If it's been hot I tend to weigh more O_o

What's YOUR normal?

2-3 pounds up or down is my normal fluctuation. Any more than that and I freak out and cut back on my calories.

I tend to freak out too - my surgeon wants me to stop losing/possibly gain though. I just can't bring myself to do it though.  I'm 188 right now..BUT they're concerned because the extra skin is about 40 lbs and they dont want me THAT low. I just can't bring myself to purposefully pack on lbs ya know?

I had to stop weighing myself everyday because the scale could change 3 pounds either way from morning to evening.
I now weigh about once a week, but even that is getting depressing.

In June I lost 6 pounds, in July I have lost 3. Well 3 if I weigh myself in the morning  otherwise, i'm still in a 6 week stall

For the last several months I've been fluctuating between 122 and 124.  There were a couple days the scale went up to 125 but not often and then would be down the next time.

Today I was unpleasantly surprised when the scale said 128.  It is that time of the month so maybe that's why.  I wasn't real happy to see it, though.  I really try not to stress over minor fluctuations in weight but geez...

Why do you think you tend to weigh more when it's hot?  I've never paid attention to whether or not the weather affects my weight.  But it's been really hot here lately.

The body retains fluid when it's hot.

In the past four weeks, I've fluctuated by 6 pounds.  Sure is frustrating!

2  lbs.  But I am way post-menopausal - so no hormonal swings.

Yes,  - heat will make us retain fluid - but I'm mostly in air conditioned environments.  Humidity with heat is really bad because it impairs our ability to sweat.

On the one hand, it is nice not to have the big weight swings that can come with monthly hormonal swings...  on the other hand, if the scale says 2 lbs gain, that is real 2 lbs!!!!

Praying for the day when there is a bit more peace with all of this.
