20 Month Post Op Update
Oh my you look fab!! Your arms, face and neck!! What great looking skin too. Congratulations. I am one year out and have lost 98 lbs and some people don't recognize me. I have a ways to go-I would like to lose another 30 lbs. I am wondering how long the losing can keep going. I am going to be 70 in a few months, and am just kicking myself for waiting so long for this surgery. Congratulations. Lori
Happy Birthday!!!! I know you are a great inspiration to many. Although the loss slowed, I continued to lose after the one year mark. I lost 70 pounds in 1997, 2002, 40 pounds in 2004 and 2007. Each time I spent 3 hours a day vigorously working out in the gym. I think that is what helped me with my skin this time around. But I do have an issue with my legs and behind. Even though I have spent very little time in the gym this time (I walk a lot), I had muscles going into surgery. Also, the first exercise I did were shoulder/neck exercises. I have weights at home, and I used them several times per day when I was newly post op so I could build up my neck.
