You chose your own journey. Now choose Miranda's!
(Ok why does OH eff with me???)
So…I’m a writer. You may know that. You may know that because I SAY it ad nauseum. I’m sort of obnoxious that way.
As a writer, it’s in my blood to hoard stories. Whenever you all tell your stories, I file them away in my head. Whenever I meet someone through Pouch Party or Bariatric Foodie or any of the growing list of WLS communities on FB and I hear a story, I remember it. Looking at the broad spectrum, our stories are a lot alike. There are parts of our journey we look back on and collectively laugh, cringe, sigh or just plain wish we could do over.
Unfortunately you only get one pass at your journey. But now you can re-live some of the more memorable moments through Miranda.
Who the hell is Miranda? (< click the link to find out)
She’s a thirty something career woman and wife. She’s looking forward to starting a family, but something just seems off about her life. When she considers Bariatric surgery to lose weight, she doesn’t know it but she’s embarking on a big, PHAT adventure. She’ll spar with her sometimes insensitive hubby, snarky co-workers and her sugar addicted family and along the way experience some of the milestones we know all too well.
And you get to decide some of her journey. Each week there will be a new episode to Miranda’s story. In some, like this week’s first episode, you’ll get to decide what happens next.
Think of it almost like the world’s first FICTITIOUS WLS soap opera (cuz we know there are several real life WLS soap operas out there…just sayin’). Anyhoo, if you like to read and want to check it out. Please do! It’s a work in progress but I’d love to know what you think.

Sorta. Readers won't get to decide after every chapter what happens. Sometimes I'll just post a question for debate/discussion. And I plan to incorporate the most "special" parts of our journey there. I hope folks can relate to Miranda and maybe see some of their moments in hers.
And I hope you smile a lot reading this too!
