How many times was your stricutre dilated?

I had my stricture initially dilated at 4 weeks, and then again at 8 weeks.  I'm now 11 weeks, and starting to feel a bit too tight again. I'm usually okay while eating - sometimes some chest pain but not much, but even 4 hours later, if I drink something, I end up vomiting a little - it's like whatever is in the pouch just won't pass through.  After the last dilation, the surgeon said he didn't think I'd have to have another one, but things are definitely weird and uncomfortable again.

Getting liquids in is so hard with this situation.  I feel like I am forever waiting for food to pass through, then I end up getting dehydrated and having a headache because if I drink within a couple hours I get sick/uncomfortable.

The worst part of all is that we just switched insurance companies and have a $2500 deductible, so I will have to pay out of pocket for the endoscopy/dilation - which is over $2000!  I guess the good news is that it will meet our deductible, but jeez - it's a 10 minute procedure!

Just venting, and curious about others' experiences.

I had mine dilated five times but for most people it's supposedly only 2 or 3 times and thats enough.
