SV & 3 Month Labs
The doctor's office just made the call I have been dreading....3 month lab results. Overall she was pleased?? Really?? I just knew it was going to be bad cuz I'm terrible at remembering to take everything! Iron was low, Vitamin D was low, and B12 was slightly low, but she says that this is normal for 3 months. So....take 2 more pills and I should be good to go. 2 more pills....yuk...I can't remember the other 6! LOL
On the up side, I have lost half of my goal. I've lost 57 and have 57 more to go. I expect the next 57 won't be as "easy" but I'm up for it! Here I goooooooooo.............................

Yea... not good... BTW: since the pills are so much trouble - how about the B12 injections? Most people need that 1 x month ( I need mine 1 x week). B12 I used to take pills (subliguals) in large dosage , daily, and still could not keep my numbers high enough.
As for iron - if it is low now... wait until year 2 or 3.. Mine was great at 1 year and then tanked year 2 and I could not get it up for over a year. Last week I got iron infusions.
Vita D - low? that is not good. Hope you start taking really mega dosage.
Low numbers at month 3 are not normal. Most of us shall have enough storage of vitamins and minerals.... apparently you do not.

How low were those things? And if your iron, B12 and D were low, how is it that you only need two more pills? Wouldn't it be three? Or are you doing injections or the nasal spray for B12?
And are you saying you've only been taking six vitamin pills? That doesn't sound like enough. You should be taking two multivitamins, three to four doses of calcium citrate - but with many brands one dose is two pills, iron and B12. That's the bare minimim.

Get copies of your labs. "slightly low" at 3 months out will possibly become "very low" without proper supplementation and knowing where you stand right now is important.
Congrats on the weight loss.
