What's for dinner - Tuesday

Tuesday really needs a name. So does Thursday. Monday is Manic Monday. Wednesday is Hump Day. Friday is payday (for some of us) or the start of the weekend. Where does that leave Tuesday and Thursday? (And why is it always Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!!!)

Anyway. No idea what I'm eating. I'm going to be surrounded by infant cuteness the entire night. I'm helping a friend who just had twins. Getting my baby jones out on other people's babies is a fave pastime of mine. That way I don't need to have ANY more babies. Get it? Got it? Good!

S'anyway...what's on your plate?

Don't have a name for Tuesday, but I refer to Thursday as Friday Eve, I am always so excited for Friday, Thursday is naturally great because its the precursor to Friday!  I know I am feeding my kids some chili dogs for dinner, gonna try to eat a lil chili with a lil cheese on top.

I have both ground beef and chicken laid out to thaw.  I will cook both and have several meals out of each, but I don't know which I'm in the mood for.  Probably the chicken marinated in terriyaki and eaten over a bed of lettuce with some asian dressing.

Ate out for the first time today. Sort of. Spent all day cleaning - hands and knees scrubbing kinda cleaning... So I didn't feel like cooking so we did Applebees car side to go. I had the sizzling chicken with spicy queso. I got the queso on the side and used 1TB of it with the chicken. I got seasonal veggies instead of the potatoes! They over did the chicken a little, but all in all it was good. The veggies were good. My daughter eats the big broccoli pieces like an ice cream cone, but she left the cauliflower for me!

Dh had the riblets and they looked yummy but were smothered in too much sauce for me to want to try.  All in all, yummy!! (and super easy clean up!)

I was going to have crea cheese chicken but now that will be more of a midnight snack.

I just went to the grocery store and picked up a breast of chicken marsala  from the prepared food section. VERY TASTY. Second time haing it this week. And very cheap.

(Nik, the chicken marsala is at Giant. You probably have Giant where you are?? If you find the chicken marsala it is SO GOOD!)

Crock pot chicken and pinto beans with salsa.  I'll probably throw some cheese and Greek yogurt on there as well.  But I'm so looking forward to having dinner done when I get home!
