How Nik made peace with steak...

Y'know I've been envying those of you who could tolerate steak for a loooong time. I am such a carnivore. Steak speaks to my SOUL.

So recently I decided it was time to find a way to prepare it so I could eat it. Past attempts were dismal failures. Slow cooked roast? Nope. Steak? Hell no! Ground beef? Don't even go there.

But then a lightbulb went off. I already knew what I needed to know to make steak work in my pouch. I just wasn't using the tools I had in my toolbox (or what we in the industry call, "using your noodle").

Check out how I got right with steak today on Bariatric Foodie!

Oh muh gaw!! This looks scrum-dilli-oumpscious!!!!  I'm 5 days post op and really looking forward to chewing again but even if I was already eating... it'd make my mouth water!

Thanks for all the details (on your page)!!!

Who know Greek Yogurt was such a handy item to have around??  :)  Love the new use for it!!

I love the multiple uses of greek yogurt!  I will have to try that trick next time.

Did you see what I did with the vanilla greek yogurt recently?
