Fried, Grilled, Doesn't Matter......
I have had 2 dumping episodes in the last 3 days.
The first one was Friday night. I went out to eat with my mom and had grilled shrimp. It all went down fine until my mom asked if I wanted to try her grilled chopped steak, so I did. One small bite and less than 10 minutes I am SICK! Dizzy, heart racing, nauseated...to the point that she had to drive home. Not sure what did it but it was bad.
The second one was last night. I fixed baked chicken, broccoli, and fried some potatoes for the kiddos. Well, I ate what I was suppose to and then just out of bad habit when I was cleaning up, I picked up a single potato and popped it in my mouth. By the time I realized it, it was too late. Again...SICK!
I think I have got to have the most sensitive pouch ever!! Anyone else this sensitive and does it get any more relaxed??

For me, once I've reached the point of full, it doesn't matter what it is, one more bite of anything and I'm getting sick. Fried food still makes me sick. I've eaten a single tator tot or a chicken nugget and gotten horrifically sick at almost a year out. My advice - stop when you should and no matter how tempting, not even another single bite.
I had a throwing up episode over a bite of a fried chicken tender. Its the only fried thing I've had since surgery. Since it was only a bite, and I hadn't eaten in hours, I tend to think I swallowed it quickly and didn't chew well.
I also got sick over chopped steak! I thought it would be good for the protein - and ordered a chopped steak plate with eggs. Gave my kids the hash browns and toast that came with. Two bites of the chopped steak and I was sick with the foamies and eventually threw up.
I am not sure why. I've eaten hamburger patties and essentially its the same thing? Weird! I guess you just never know.

Well apparently I have a super sensitive pouch too. I'd been sooo good at following the plan and not eating things I shouldn't until the last couple weeks or so and now! Wow, lots of things make me feel icky. Here's my list:
- homemade salads - Subway salads are a-ok but what I make at home, not so much. Might be the dressing - it's low cal ranch
- cherries - I can have maybe 2 before I start to feel ill
- squash chips - I'm not sure if they were fried or not but I sure did feel bad afterwards
- fruit bar - full out dump
- dream pie - full out dump even though it was made with sf pudding
- chinese food - I've eaten chinese food several times but this last time was BAD. I think it was greasier than what I'd had before
I think I'm super sensitive to fat and sugar, even natural sugar. Not a bad thing I guess but I'd rather not have found out the hard way!

I havent' dare to venture out to sodas or even yogurt. I'm ok with fruits as long as I remove the skin as well. Funny how you read about people that can eat anything and then some of us are so sensitive to foods. I would rather be sensitive though.
