I did that with Peppermint also, while trying to recreate the Shamrock shake flavor from Mcdonald's! I didn't have peppermint syrup on hand (which is what the recipe calls for) for I threw in a teaspoon of extract. Whoa boy! It tasted like I had mixed toothpaste in with my protein! YUCK
