What do you get at starbucks?
Currently I live off of a Triple Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte however I'm 3 years out and my surgeon OK'd me to have caffiene. If you are early out you may want to choose decaf. Any of their skinny drinks will be good which I believe are the Vanilla, Hazelnut, Cinnimon Dolce and Carmel. Can get Iced or hot
If you like protein shakes, I would buy the decaf via packets, they go marvelously in chocolate protein shakes, making them mocha-chino's <sp)! If I want something to drink right then and there, I get the skinny decaf sf cinnamon dolce latte (hot or iced). YUM!
Edited to add the second half of the paragraph-don't know where it went, but it went!

I too get a grande fat free latte every morning. Also started as a way to pick up extra protein. Of course I have to make sure I allow for those carbs every day. Once in awhile I get a Venti fat free latte. I don't add a flavor, I just don't like coffee that way. Sometimes I sprinkle on some cinnamon.
For cold I will either get a grande fat free latte or black tea unsweetened.
Man, I am boring. lol

In the early days when I couldn't gag down much of anything, I would get a Venti Double 2% Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte and occasionally a Tall Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte (cold felt better than hot for me). Now that I'm able to get more calories in, I get a Venti Double Skinny Vanilla Latte, just to reduce the amount of liquid calories I'm taking in.
I usually get a skinny decaf vanilla latte. I think they have other flavors that are sugar free, though. You could probably look up stuff on their website before you go. I do that a lot if I'm going someplace so I can pick out what I want and make sure I know how much sugar is in stuff instead of having to figure it out when I'm there and don't want to hold other people up.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
If I am getting it for the protein: Grande of Venti Fat Free (Skinny) Latte with Splenda added. I always get decaf so I can count it toward my liquids.
If just craving the taste: Venti decaf iced coffee with skim milk added as the creamer with Splenda.
I did Starbucks very early out - but always do the decaf since I am not drinking it for the caffeine rush. Caffeine is something I pretty much did away with pre-surgery and I see no need to return - lol

I am a caffeine addict, through and through. So, beware and ask your doctor first if you are allowed to have caffeine and how much.
Early out, before I was cleared for caffeine, I had decaf sugar free soy lattes. I got the lattes because the milk added protein and it had to be soy because I became lactose intolerant immediately post-op. Now, I am cleared for caffeine and can handle lactose again, but I am also able to get enough protein from food and one shake a day (CLICK....more caffeine!). So, these days I drin****d coffee with sugar free hazelnut and a splash of either soy or non-fat milk as the creamer. Way less calories than a latte, and lots of yum!
