I love anyplace that has a baked or grilled fish on the menu.  Applebees has a good grilled shrimp skewer.

I go to Mexican and get a burrito with whatever I want in it and no shell.  I usually bring at least 2/3 home.

PF Chang’s

Why: They have tasty, high protein, low fat appetizers which are more like the meal to me (the lettuce wraps are to die for!). A gazillion kinds of decaf herbal hot AND iced teas. Nice atmosphere and the wait staff (no matter where I’ve gone from Baltimore to Chicago) doesn’t treat you like a stepchild if you have a small roder.

BD’s Mongolian Grill

Why: You pick the contents of your meal from the raw bar, the flavors in your sauce and they cook it up! It’s a post-ops dream. AND if you do the “one time through only" you can take home your leftovers to use for other meals.

Not to blog pimp (snicker) but I’ve done reviews on both on Bariatric Foodie. Search ‘em!
