Is something wrong with my pouch? someone please help!
I am a little over 4 months post op and it seems like all of a sudden my pouch is holding more and it is scaring me. I have really tried so hard to do everything right. No sodas or carbonated beverages, no breads or rice, protein high meals and vegtables and no sweets. Is it normal for the pouch to hold more at this point or is something wrong with me. Some meals I feel like I am eating a ton (even thought it is maybe an ounce or 2 more than 4 ounces and other meals I an barely eat an ounce or two. Am I doing something wrong. I am so afraid of stretching out my pouch. I had a stritcher for the first 2 months and couldn't eat anything so I have only been eating for about a month or two but I am just terrified to do something wrong. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds pretty normal actually. Some meals depending on what your eating are just easier to eat more of (slider type foods) and others are so heavy you don't eat so much. as long as you are measuring/weighing your problably just fine.

Oh, you are SO not alone in this fear! Don't be scared, because unless you'd been eating MASSIVE amounts to abuse your pouch over the past 4 months, you have not stretched your pouch. It's not broken. That sudden feeling of "losened up" instead of the totally tight feeling you have for the first few months is apparently normal.
I can drink whole swallows of liquids and 2oz just isn't really cutting it for me unless it's a really dense protein (like chicken or steak). BUT (and I don't recomend doing this) I can really tell that the restriction is in effect when I've NOT measured food and ate close to a cup of something - blaaaaaa . Some days you'll have "small pouch days" and others will be "big pouch days". Stick to measuring your foods, eating protein first, keeping with your surgeon's food plans and you'll keep losing weight. Nerve endings grow back after a while, hunger may come back eventually, but the habits you start & maintain now will carry you over the long haul!

No, there's nothing wrong with your pouch. It's supposed to stretch a little over time and hold more. I can eat about a cup of food, maybe a little more, by now.
