Right now I am reading a novel called Delivery by Jennifer Crichton.  It's about a nurse midwife and it is a novel but also has kind of a lot of info about childbirth in it.  That might not be so interesting to some people, but you know, I like health-related stuff.  And actually, once upon a time, I wanted to be a midwife.  So I'm enjoying it.

Mostly when I read fiction I like mysteries.  I like Patricia Cornwell and Robin Cook a lot.  I'm trying to think who else.

I like getting books on CD, too, because then I can listen while I walk.  Sometimes it actually gets me to walk further because I want to keep listening.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.

Oh I loved The Help.  Have you read The Darkest Child by Delores Phillips?  She is a nurse from GA and this was her first novel.  Very good read.

If you liked The Help you might want to check this one out as well.

Love Alex Cross. Did you hear they may be making movies out of it? Tyler Perry is supposed to play Alex.

Did you see that commercial where he threatens to kill Alex Cross if you don't buy his book?  I love that commercial.  Might get him "myseried" though....
