Five things that make me fabulous
I care about people and am learning how to help them with my course of studies in Health Education.
I successfully brought six humans into the world and they all still survive to this day.
I am the least judgmental person you will ever meet and everyone has a chance to get to know me if they choose to.
I am flexible and can get through any crisis the world throws at me.

I am fabulous because:
1. I am optimistic and always see the best in a situation. Any situation. I count my blessings even in the face of adversity.
2. I am a loving, caring person. I take care of my family members even though the kids are grownups and live far from us. I try to do the little things that bring a smile to my mom, who is in her 90's. I extend myself to those locally who need help.
3. I love to learn new things. RIght now I am enrolled in 2 writing classes to pursue my passion, and am starting to learn Spanish! I am an avid reader and try to study the Scriptures regularly. Whether it is something this formal, or something like learning to make a new recipe....learning and extending my mind is very important to me. And I guess this includes learning about fitness, which is another fairly new interest area for me.
4. I am a "go and do" person. Not to say I "never" procrastinate, but when I see an opportunity, I take it! Don't wait for someday when I can immerse in a wonderful experience today!
5 I am organized. I love order in my home and work space and try to work to achieve that as much as possible. I'm always organizing something!
I am fabulous because:
I am very funny and witty and just a hell of a lot of fun to be around.
I am generous with my time and money.
I am the type of person that everyone knows they can turn to in a time of need.
I am not a shrinking violet--I am a strong spirited woman who will stand up for what I believe in, but you can also dress me up and take me out, so to speak.
I believe I have overcome a lifetime of obesity and damn it, that is FABULOUS!!
Thanks for asking!!

Gonna be rough trying to narrow it down like that....
(Kidding, ok?)
Ok, let's go:
1. I'm brave.
I am not afraid of change, or failure, or making the wrong impression. REALLY large bugs, however...
2. I'm pretty good under pressure. I can buckle down, then buckle down tighter, and grit my way through a lot.
3. I like to think I have a good sense of humor. I also like to think I am secretly destined to rule all mankind.
4. I tend to look for action, solutions. My Myers-Briggs says that I'm ENTJ, corresponding to the Rational Fieldmarshal type. When something doesn't seem to be working, I have to try to fix it. Can't help myself.
5. I think I'm pretty shrewd. I really am a very caring person, but I am not easily fooled.
Now whether or not that all adds up to "fabulous" I really couldn't say, but I see them as good qualities, and feel pretty confident about claiming them.
Fun question again, Nik!
1. I find the learning opportunity in adversity
2. I am learning to love my body
3. I've rescued 3 "fur-babies" and given them a forever home
4. I make a difference in my clients' lives
5. I am a loyal friend

1. I am a good mom or as good as I can be.
2. I will do anything for anyone who needs it.
3. I love with all my soul
4. I am smart
5. Hubby says that I am the person you want on your side when you need someone to have your back. When I think someone is being wronged I speak up and stick to my guns.

A woman is like a tea bag - you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water. Eleanor Roosevelt
I have picked up hitchhikers (they ride in the bed of the truck only) and hauled gas cans when I was too afraid of hauling the person. Unfortunately I have to be careful because nuts are everywhere, but I have pushed many a car through intersections or pulled them out of beach sand with my truck.
2) I am a "loyal" person. A fiercely loyal person. You can say or do pretty much anything to me, but you awaken a sleeping giant when you mess with those I love.
3) I am sarcastic without being mean. I love to make people laugh.
4) I am dependable. If I say I will do it - consider it done. If I say I will be there at a certain time - set the clock by me.
5) I am honest. Pretty much to a fault. I expect the same from others, but never "payback" one untruth with another. My friends, family and counselor know I live by the "brutal honesty" agreement - I'll tell you the truth and then we work through if it makes you angry. I expect the same from them.
