Doctoring up vanilla shakes
I also like to add a single serving packet of orange crystal lite to a vanilla shake.,
I blend those up with a handful of ice.
Sometimes I put frozen fruit in, like frozen strawberries.

The strawberry crystal light mixes in things well too but be careful as the "Energy" comes from caffeine! Doing a scoop of chocolate protein & a scoop of vanilla seems to result in a very similar product to Wendy's frosties.... Adding fruit will certainly boost your mileage with the shake & since you don't dump it shouldn't be a problem for you. Berries have the lowest glycemic factor so best to start with those first before moving on to higher-sugar fruits.
