Doctoring up vanilla shakes

I like them made with milk.  My favorite is to put in a spoonful of Maxwell House International coffee mix.  I like French vanilla best (sugar free decaf).

I also like to add a single serving packet of orange crystal lite to a vanilla shake.,

I blend those up with a handful of ice.

Sometimes I put frozen fruit in, like frozen strawberries.

I'm gonna have to do the orange one Kelly suggested - I'd imagine it'd taste like an orange julius with some added ice...
The strawberry crystal light mixes in things well too but be careful as the "Energy" comes from caffeine! Doing a scoop of chocolate protein & a scoop of vanilla seems to result in a very similar product to Wendy's frosties.... Adding fruit will certainly boost your mileage with the shake & since you don't dump it shouldn't be a problem for you. Berries have the lowest glycemic factor so best to start with those first before moving on to higher-sugar fruits.

My favorite shake is 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1 cup milk, 2 tbs PB2 and 2 tbs sf banana cream pudding mix.  Delish.

May I ask why the pudding mix?

The pudding mix makes it creamier and also adds more flavor.  I have tried making it with a real banana but it was not as rich of a flavor as it is with the pudding mix.

I mix vanilla and cappichina 1/2 and 1/2 to go in my morning decaf.  I got some vanilla pudding to mix it in also but havent tried it yet.  I like raspberry drink mix in vanilla, as well as orange and have done strawberry drink mix with some fresh strawberries.

I'm on a shake break but my favorite was freezing a banana and throwing that into the blender with 6 ounces milk and powder.  I love bananas.  Sometimes with a little squirt of sf hersheys syrup.
