Bread
I personally agree with Marycatherine, especially since you are having so much trouble getting enough protein. You need ALL your pouch space for protein right now and even "high protein" bread products have much less protein than the same quantity of meat, etc. At 4 years out, I still eat lots of sandwich fillings (including deli meat & cheese and tuna/egg/chicken salad) without the bread... or take one or two bites with the bread and then just eat the insides with a fork (or my fingers at home, LOL).
When I *do* eat bread, I eat whatever sounds good... but, again, I am 4 years out.

I don't eat bread real often but when I do, I eat whole wheat if it's available. I also try to stick with bread that's on the thinner side rather than really thick bread. If I'm out somewhere though and thin whole wheat bread is not available, sometimes I eat something else. Like if I go out to dinner and there are rolls, I might eat two or three bites even if it's white bread. Since I usually get enough protein and I don't eat it that often, I don't worry too much about what kind of bread it is. And while I was still trying to lose weight, I ate bread less often than I do now (which means hardly ever, but I did still eat it once in a while).

Bread wasn't on our plan until 6 months out. then only WW and thin. I have bought flat sandwich rolls and had 1/2 toasted. I've also eaten 1/2 a low fat, low carb, high protein wrap. None is wonderful and I don't do them more than 1 serving every couple of weeks. When I am out if I can't find anything else, i get a sub and eat the middle out of it. At home, I just eat the filling. Many places, like Mexican resturants, will serve you a dish with no bread, like a burrito with no shell. In fact today I was at a horse show and got a bbq sandwich, hold the bun.

I started eating bread this week and at 1st was so happy! I was using WM bakery multi grain dinner rolls and making a turkey sandwhich out of it. The 1st two were delish...todays not so much. It wasnt BAD...i just didnt want it. I was also trying the Pepperidge Farm whole wheat very thin's and they are GROSS! Omg taste like BUTT! I tried eating one toasted today with some runny eggs and nearly gagged. And i usually like whole wheat bread but that was nasty lol. But bread is turning out like so many other things...I think of it and remember how good it USED to taste but hwen i actually eat it now its just not like i remembered it being.
