Are lean cuisines not good for us?
I have a real hard time with meat but I find that smart ones, lean cuisines and healthy choices, the ones without rice or pasta, are easy to go down. The turkey is drenched in gravy and so is the salibury steak and they are less than 200 calories for a meal. I can eat half at one time. They also have a of protein. Are these okay for me to have? One a day?

I don't see why not, if you really want one for one meal a day only. The salisbury steak is 260 calories, 23 protein, 23 carbohydrate, 8 fat, and 540 sodium. If a comfort meal will satisfy you and not lead to binging on more.
If you ate 3 a day the simple carbohydrates would be too high (imo) the sodium is a bit high, but could be balanced. Also might lead to RH down the road for RNY people (imo too) I could be wrong.

Yes, these are fine. Frozen dinners do have a lot of preservatives (and are often higher in sodium than their homemade counterparts), but right now I personally think you need anything you can keep down that has protein and calories in it! Since I am single, and find cooking to be tedious for one person who eats very little (!), I ate a fair number of frozen dinners (with only about 2 bites of the pasta or potatoes) early out. I still have one about once or twice a week, even though I seriously try to limit processed foods.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Hi-
I have had (and still do) a ton of issues with food and not being able to eat dense meats. With frozen meals I usually do them for lunch at work if I didn't pack left overs from the night before. I always toss out the pasta, rice, or other carbs before I even sit down with the meal in front of me. It removes the temptation of eating the foods my body doesn't need. I eat the protein first and then veggies if I have room left. I feel like I end up tossing a lot of it in the trash but for me its still cheaper and a healthier food option then any food I can buy around my work. Like another poster said just keep your eye out for sugar if you dump a lot of the meals have high sugar content. My nutritionist also suggested that I look for the lean cuisines that are labeled Spa Cuisine. They seem to have more veggies vs carbs.
