If they are recommending Flintstones, then they aren't really insisting on a complete multivitamin because Flintstones are NOT complete (even though they write the word complete on the label).  They are missing some important stuff.

A chewable multi but NOT one specifically made for bariatric folks, like chewable Centrum:
> Centrum Silver = 2 tablets in the morning (take iron carbonyl separately)
> Surgeon and bariatric doc had instructed me to take Flintstones. :(

When I was very first post op I used flintstones. Now I use Costco adult vitamins. Not chewable.

I started with the bariactric chew-ables in the beginning. I took them for about 4 months, the switched over to a pill I could swallow. I had a hard time finding one that I could tolerate. I would get nauseated. I now take Natures Made multi vit, and my pouch seems to like these ones better. Not sure if it makes a difference or not, but the Natures Made seem to have less fillers in them.

For multis, I take Centrum equivalent in the Costco Kirkland brand, 1 at breakfast & dinner.  If I recall correctly, surgeon recommended 'One A Day' multis, since that's what I started out with.

I've taken swallowable pills since my surgical/hospital stay, with the exception of sublingual B12.
