poll about multivitamins

I’m wondering how many people are taking chewable multivitamins, how many are taking children’s vitamins, etc.  I promise not to yell at you in this thread if you’re taking kids’ vitamins or gummies.

Which of the following do you take?

A multi that you swallow, like Centrum?

A chewable multi but NOT one specifically made for bariatric folks, like chewable Centrum?

A special chewable bariatric vitamin, like Celebrate or Bariatric Advantage?

A special bariatric vitamin that you swallow, like Celebrate or Bariatric Advantage?

Celebrate’s ENS (it’s a drink mix that is a multi plus 500 mg calcium)?

One of those all-in-one bariatric vitamins like Bariatric Fusion or Optisource?

Kids’ vitamins, like Flintstones?

Gummy vitamins?

If you’re taking something else, what is it?

Anybody not taking any multivitamin at all?

And finally, does your doctor or dietician recommend or approve what you’re taking, or did you decide not to follow their recommendations and take something else that you feel is best for you?

I use ENS and my doc and dietician were not familiar with it until I told them I was using it, but then they both said it was fine and I think my dietician was actually planning to suggest it for newly post op patients.

I was told by my doctor team to take the Flinstones chewables. Now that the bottle is just about gone finally, I am on my way to the store to look for something else. I feel like as an adult I need much more than a silly little kids vitamin...

it was recommended.  My surgeon has since changed to another program that sells bariatric vitamins at the clinic.  I will check out those next time I go.

I take the Centrum performance multi-vitamin or more recently the CVS brand knock off.
My surgeon's office just said to make sure you take a multi vitamin they do sell the Bariatic Vitamins in their office but don't push anyone to buy them.
I took Opti-Source chewable vitamins (dr office approved) for 3months after surgery...but after all the good info on this site and the ridiclous cost I switched to the Centrum.
