Protein Ice Cream question

So I looked at all the recipes on Eggface's website, and there are MANY flavors, but what I want is good old fashioned vanilla.  Has anyone tried just leaving out the part that makes it some other flavor and subbing vanilla SF syrup?  Or do you have a good vanilla protein ice cream recipe?

I am hoping to stop on the way home to buy the icecream maker tonight...do they have those at Walmart?  or better yet Home Depot or Lowes maybe?  My dogs can shop with me at Home Depot and Lowes, but not Walmart.

TIA

I love eggfaces icecream recipies have made many, alll time fave is pumpkin spice! However personally to make plain old vanilla, i like strong vanilla flavor, i would do it as she suggests with soy vanilla milk a good vanilla protien powder vanilla sf torani syrup and some real vanilla extract. That is what i do.

Thanks!   I also love a strong vanilla flavor, so your suggestion sounds great to me.  I can't wait to try it!!

I'm not much of a cook but I wonder if you used real vanilla bean chopped up fine or grated. Just a thought

Watchout BlueBell, OH is concocting a vanilla bean recipe!  I'll have to see how hard the beans are to see if I think I can chop/grate fine enough...would you use the beans raw or cooked?  I am no cook either Tammy.  In fact, I adamantly refuse to cook.  I do on rare occassions though mix a few ingredients that don't require actual "cooking".

I made some vanilla ice cream the other day. I used 1 cup milk, 1 scoop vanilla body fortress protein powder and 1 tbs of torani sugar free vanilla syrup. You might want to add extra syrup for more of a vanilla flavor.

I might try the idea of adding fresh vanilla beans in my next batch! Great idea.

I did Vanilla protein, vanilla sf syrup, and crushed pineapple or fresh berries.  I am presurgery and about to do my liquid diet and going to have to make them with no fruit, just protein pwder and s.f syrups or maybe crystal light flavors, or sf dry jello / pudding added.  They dont taste as good as the ones with fruit, but I am not a big shake fan some the frozen part makes it easier on me.  I have some chocolate and strawberry in the freezer now.
