Sports bottle ??

So I know after surgery I'll be sipping and sipping until I'm blue in the face but I want to know... I am a BIG straw fan.. I know it's going to cause problems with gas and excess air.  But what about a sports type top?  I'm afraid I'll gulp the water and I'm looking to try and slow myself down a bit.  Will a sports type top introduce too much air and cause gas??

Anyone have a bottle they'd suggest?

Pre-op I was a guzzler. I told my NUT this and she did suggest a sports bottle top. But my office says we could uses straws. I tried and it was uncomfortable. Trust me you will learn very quick not to gulp.

Actually, straws don't give me gas.  Never have.

I don't think anyone here can tell you if they will give you gas or if a sports bottle will give you gas.  You'll just have to try and see.

You'll have to try and see. That said--I love my blender bottle for when I need to take stuff on the go!

My nut says "no straws - you'll gulp air and have gas." Well, I gulp more air when I just drink, so she has me using straws and it's all fine.

Try things and see what works.
