Paul C., I owe you not one but TWO thank you's!
Yep, you read right. I have two things to thank you for!
First, I would like you to know that because I was inspired by your commitment to your running, I have actually been getting out there and moving my butt. And not on a treadmill. On actual land. I’ve even taken up jogging again. Yesterday, after a particularly stressful day, it felt good to get out there and feel the air and sunshine on my skin and push myself just a little bit harder today than I did yesterday.
Second, as a result my brain seems to be back in the endorphin producing mode. I like that. As I was doing my jogging yesterday (and it wasn’t far but each day I endeavor to go a bit further and push myself a bit harder), I realized that my ability to be active is one of the things I like about myself. It’s important to me and I don’t want to give that up. I also realized that this feeling is completely independent of weight loss.
In short, regardless of if I ever lose another pound, I like moving this ol’ body and I want to keep doing it!
So thank you, Paul C. I honestly was thinking about you as I was jogging yesterday. I thought about you the first time I put my old jogging sneakers back on. Your posts inspire me and I’m happy to know you!

and I have to agree hearing about how much Paul loves running has gotten me more motivated to move more.

For once in a long time I am honestly speechless. I really appreciate your kind words and the support you and everyone has provided back to me.
I am honored that my endevors have inspired people to get out and get moving, after all I believe that is the primary reason to go through what we do and have.
If you ever start tracking your runs and other exercise look me up on Dailymile.
Again thank you for the kind words from everyone and keep up the great work!
