Ummm...maybe you were named for the apostle Paul? Or at least that's what I would tell people if I was named Paul ;)

My full first name is Francine.  I usually go by Fran, with the exception of my husband and those who he influences; he likes formal names.

I was named after a nun in the hospital who baptized me at birth; I was very ill.

I was not given a middle name at the time because I was very ill and it was quick decision.  I later used my Confirmation name of Nicole and have sort of adopted it as a middle name.

1. Michele - Chele for short :)
2. Named for the Beatles song, my next sibling born was Renee, named for The Four Tops song... what can I say, my parents were music lovers and not super original. Although I do wish that my parents had chosen to spell my name in the traditional way (made finding personalized pencils as an elementary school kid pretty tough!)
3. Andrea- pronounced Ann Dre A, again not the typical pronunciation.
4. No social but my phone phone number is 867-5309!

Nik - Is your full name prounced like the shoe and rhymes with psyche? I see a massage therapist who spells his name Nike but pronouces it Nikki.

My name is phonetically pronounced Nick-eye. My mom is Rick-eye. My daughter is Ah-nick-eye.

  1. If it isn’t already apparent in your screen name, what is your first name? Valerie
  2. If you know, WHY is that your first name? How did your parents choose your name? My mom had a friend in high school named Valerie and she always thought it was a pretty name
  3. If you feel comfortable sharing, what is your middle name? Dale- you didn't ask why here but my dad's friend is named Dale and he was the first one to come visit me when I was born- I used to HATE, HATE it but now don't care so much. However if my parents have given me a typical middle name like Ann- my initals would be V.A.L. Wouldn't that have been cuter???
  4. What is your social security number? ****ed, I keed!) 594-25-1839- NOT lol

1.  My name is Victoria... Tori for short (mainly).  Growing up I went by any number of derivatives... Ticker-T, Ticker-T-Toria, Tori-T.  You name it, I've been called it!  Went by Vicki up until I was about 20... HATED it!

2.  If I was a boy I would have been Sean, but since I was a lil girl my parents named me Victoria.  The story is that my Dad's great grandmother way back was Queen Victoria's milliner and his grandfather way back was one of Queen Victoria's coachmen.  Who knows if it's true, but that's what I've been told all my life! (And interestingly, a genealogist discovered that I'm related to Rebecca Nourse, the first woman killed as a result of the Salem Witch Trials!)

3. My middle name is Suzanne... so Victoria Suzanne.  I've kept my maiden name over the years because people always commented that my name sounded like a movie star's, lol...

1.) TAWNDA, not Tonya, not Tawanda, not Twanda.....TAWNDA  ha ha  Pronounced like Dawn, but with a T.  It was crazy a few terms ago I took a college class with a Tawanda and kept having to remind the teacher there were two of us because the other lady rarely came to class and failed her tests so I was ON THAT!!  Did not want my grade to suffer because of the mix up.  The teacher thanked me.  She said since the other lady was rarely there she didn't realise there were two of us.  She thought it was a typo on the printout.  WHAT??  We had different last names.  But oh well....

2.) My parents went to church with a woman named TONDA.  Pronounced the same as my name, but my mom changed the spelling.  She never said why she changed the spelling, but I know that I almost got named Delta Dawn after the Tanya Tucker song,  Must have been the joy of being born in 1972 because a few yrs later my next door neighbor was also named Delta Dawn.  ha ha  Someone mentioned how awful it was growing up never finding pencils, stickers, etc with your name on them.  YES I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!  But I guess I was the opposite, I liked being one of a kind.  ha ha  I have met two other's with my name, but also spelled, TONDA.  When I moved to Alabama, I was going to finally get a personlized license plate and low and behold could not have my name as someone else already had it!  GO FIGURE!!  So I had to modify a bit, but still got mine my own way!  ha ha

3.) Leah, from the Bible

4.) 000-00-0000  ha ha

1. Tammy
2. My mom wanted to name me Renee, but my dad was infatuated with Sandra Dee's Tammy movies and apparently he won. Apparently many dads were enthralled since there are too many Tammys in my age range!
3. Lynn. I am just as mundane as everyone else LOL
