Just a little bit of beauty...Pictures

Today we took my stepdaughter to the Japanese Gardens in Ft. Worth.  Simply gorgeous.

Simply one of the most beautiful places I've ever been:

I just wanted to post some of these pictures.  Going to an outdoor garden and walking for 3 hours in 100 degree heat is something I NEVER could have done before my surgery.  I can enjoy beauty like this again.

These are great!  Looks like the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens to me.   Thank you for sharing!

Esther,  That is exactly where it is.  I'd been to the main Botanical Gardens before but had never gone to the Japanese Gardens.  I think I have found a new favorite place in DFW.  I've lived here for 10 years and this is the first place that has ever truly touched me.

I have to confess to living in the DFW metroplex since 1984 and I only got out to the Gardens (and Ft Worth) 4 years ago.  Sigh.  But it too made a lasting impression on me.  But as you alluded to, the heat keeps this little chunky monkey inside during the hot Texas summers.

I go to a nice Japanese garden in Seattle. It's so different than western gardens.
I liked the little water park in downtown Fort Worth. Oh..and thinking of Fort Worth makes me hungry for Joe T. Garcia's Mexican food..Help me..I'm having flashbacks!
