Salmon is the only fish I eat.

I bake fillets in the oven. You can either marinade it wit a lemon marinade or just use lemon pepper or roasted garlic and herb seasoning. I prefer the roasted garlic and herbs. I use Mr. Dash salt-free brand.

when I went to soft foods  I tried tilapia.  I can eat tilapia easily, salmon easily.  If you try shrimp dont over cook, chew thoroughly.  Most people don't chew shrimp enough.

McCormick Grill Mates has a  seafood rub.

I usually do just butter and salt/pepper and cook til flaky

I've done the Gordon's frozen "grilled" fish--the salmon was ok. I'm not much of a cook so I needed the pre-made stuff until I was sure I was "ok" with that food! No need to spend the $$ on fresh salmon to find out my pouch didn't like it at all! (I then purchased frozen fillets at BJ's and made them in the microwave with lemon pepper and spray butter)

I had tilapia tonight. My wife dredges the fillet in egg and mustard and them coats them in low carb breadcrumbs (which she makes by food processoring low carb pitas) and bakes them in the oven on a Pam sprayed cookie sheet. She turns them half way through the cooking and they get crispy on both sides. It was delicious even if I was only able to eat less than two ounces.

I eat tilapia, tuna, whitefish, rainbow trout and haddock. I don't do any of them breaded, because while the pouch seems to love fi**** doesn't like breading with it (I think it swells too much).

I mostly buy it in frozen filets and eat it baked in the convection toaster oven with a side of veggies. I found this new product this week which I really liked:

I eat half of one pouch, for reference on nut value.

Other fish I eat with lemon juice and pepper or garlic and fake butter spray, or with piri piri sauce or frank's red hot (I put that **** on everything!).

My brother got this at his WW meeting for chicken but I just did it with tilapia and it was sooo good! I love fish because it's filling and low in calories but HIGH in protein :)

wet the fillet and dredge in a mixture of grated parmesan cheese mixed with a packet of italian good seasons seasoning and bake on a sheet sprayed with pam...delish!

Went fishing the other day, caught a steelhead (salmon) so thought I would try it.  I am about a month farther out than you but had not tried the seafood thing yet (except canned tuna).  I prepared my salmon, by rubbing it with some mayonnaise, salt, pepper, topped it with onions and wrapped it in foil and put it on the BBQ....very yummy.

I don't really like salmon, but I had it grilled in the barbeque wrapped in foil and it was awsome.  She marinated it in marinade made with soy sauce, vinegar, Nature's Seasons, few drops of Tobasco.  When it was almost done she brushed it with garlic butter and laid sliced onions across it and covered it back up to cook till the onions were done.

Also good and simple and my staple food, is frozen Tilapia fillets.  You get them in a big bag at Costco or Bj's;etc.  Put one on a plate frozen, a little real butter (not a big deal when you don't eat much), sprinkle with Nature's Season's or Lemon Pepper.  Cover tightly with plastic wrap and nuke on high for 6 minutes, more if microwave is less than 1000 watts.
Yum, doesn't taste or smell fishy nice white flaky, and green beans on the side.

I'm from New Orleans, seafood is my thing.  My first solid food after GNY was stewed okra, tomatoes and shrimp.  Oh no, I forgot that was the second food.  The first was sauteed mushrooms at my favorite steak house.Satisfied the steak crave before I could eat meat cause they grilled them with the steaks so I got the steak taste.
