Swimsuit Advice Needed !!

Last year I bought this cute swimsuit that I wore 1 time.  Well, it doesn't fit now!!  YAY!  My son and I will be leaving next week for the beach and that means I have got to go shopping.  So...what type swimsuit do you think is more flattering to us?  I know each person is different but what are you thoughts?  Here are a few things to keep in mind....I will be doing very little swimming.  Not an ocean person...there are jellyfish and sharks in there.  I plan on tanning, reading a book, and maybe napping in a chair for 3 whole days.  Looks are much more important than functional! LOL

I tried on every one I could find with a skirt so I could cover up my wrinkly saggy legs - but ended up buying a one piece without a skirt that holds my tummy in.  I also invested in a good sarong to cover up my legs when not in the pool.

Have fun!

Stacey

I have a 2 piece skirted swim suit.  It has a nice supportive tunic top.  I needed somthing I could pack my saggy boobs into.

If you need a plus size, try a Delta Burke suit. Penney's carries these.

If you are in regular sizes, I have had great luck with Longitude brand - also at Penneys but I got mine for a great price at TJ Maxx.

BTW - Lands End suits tend to run a little snug IMO, although they do have a wide selection of sizes and styles.

I currently have my favorite swim bottom ever - lands end supplex (?) swim mini -- it more resembles men's suit material than women's , so it doesn't cling!  On top, I have a too-big tankini top that needs replacing but I've made do since it's halter style and I can just tie it tighter.

I just had to get one recently. I got one with a built in unwire (for my saggy boobs) and tummy control. I'm not too self conscious about my "melting" legs, but my tummy flap that hangs down needed some support. Have fun!

I love Lands End bathing suits.  I have 3 (from last 2 years) and want another one since my coworker told me today they have a 30% off sale going on.

I want the board short ones this time.  They do have two lengths in skirts and the longer one does well covering the shar pei thighs for me.
