I never thought....

that it would take me 30 minutes to eat 1/4 of a club sandwich...minus the bread...and maybe a teaspoon of potato salad.  Got a good bit of protein in with all the ham, turkey, roast beef, and cheese combined.  Getting better at this food job every day.

My cardiologist says he would rather I eat a big mac than processed deli meat.

Be sure you are reading labels.

It was all 98% fat free and had between 7-9 grams of protein per slice.

Really?  Why?  I'm not doubting, just curious.

I ate quite a bit of deli turkey and chicken for about two weeks.  Now I can't stand the stuff.  Luckily I haven't gotten tired of bbq chicken and the weather's nice enough to grill!

I'm sure if you read the nutritional info on deli meat you will find it to be much metter for you than a big mac.  Next time he says this ask why.

Yes this sounds so much more nutritional than a couple slices of deli meat.
