I was arguing with my husband the other day before it was time to receive my shot. As I was bent over, he reminded me it was not too smart to argue with him right about the time he is filling the syringe. Funny! I tell him the same thing...there are times he enjoys giving me those shots a little too much. I am grateful he can do it, though.
It is a Deep IM shot so you have to get deep into muscle tissue. I do mine in my upper arms as I have the tissue to support it without going really deep. Many people do it in their hip/butt area which may be a bit more difficult.

The nurse at the doctor's office always gave them to me in my shoulder, but that's kind of an awkward reach-across angle for me, so I was planning on sticking it in the front of my thigh, in the muscle. ( know I have at least as much muscle there as in my wimpy shoulders.)
Anyone have any insight on that spot, pros or cons?
