OT - about our progress (xpost, if I knew how to do it)
His nursing care was BEYOND excellent. The food? Not so much. But he only had one distracted nurse in all that time? The whole staff was young, so he said they were too busy flirting. They turned off his PCA because it kept going off. Um?
But aside from that? Nearly 2 wks of EXCELLENT care, signed notes from them when he left. We really got the feeling they actually cared.
But in our memories, Knoxville is filed under "People who care for no apparent reason", so that includes our rv neighbors, the dS community that rushed to our rescue, the park maintenance and owners, the dog boarding - every where I went.
