What's for dinner - Monday night!

Me? No idea. This seems to be a theme these days. Well not just these days but all days. Me and dinner have never been friends. It's a mind thing. To me, dinner = no more food for the day. So I resist!

Here's what I've had today:

1. 2 eggs, over medium + 1 slice wheat toast
2. 6 inch turkey breast/ham sub from Subway on 9-grain wheat (pick up your jaw, yes I can eat the whole thing.
3. A few squares of chocolate (in light of my earlier carbyness this was probably not the best idea but I never proclaimed myself perfect)

According to my food journal I'm at about 700 calories. There needs to be a protein shake in there somewhere to balance out all those damn carbs. We'll see.

I tried this for the first time and loved it:

2/3 cup baby scallops
1/4 yellow onion
1 tsp minced garlic

Sautee all in a nonstick pan with a touch of olive oil and enjoy! DELISH!

Since I eat 6 times a day ... I have 2 dinners... lol.
Just right I ate (inhaled ) beef roast, deli sliced , with mustard.  Yes - don't need anything else.  As long as I have my beef .. I am happy.
Also - on my way from DMV (hate their rules... not people) I stopped by Wallmart and got some Hormel RTE meats. I used to bu them in my local grocery store, and only when they are on sale ... and a friend told me they have them in Wallmart for what I pay on sale ... So went there... (hate Wallmart) and got some.  they are great when i am hungry and do not want to wait to cook to eat... and they taste good and have good stats...

Anyway ... later today will try my liver curry... not sure how this turn out... I fit is good - great... if not... I wasted 3 lbs of liver.  Will see,

So hopefully, 2nd dinner:  curry liver + cucs salad.

Chicken stirfried with various veggies I have around (carrots, onions, broccoli, bell pepper, garlic, ginger). A bit of chili garlic, oyster sauce and soy sauce to flavor it up and hold it all together. Thankfully the family likes this sort of thing too.

All of these food posts make me realize just what a picky "B" I have become. I do love my scallops though.

And NOTHING sounds good to me tonight. There may be a protein shake in my future. Maybe I will go for a run to take my mind off of it. UGH!

Since I did over 110g protein in shakes/drinks today, I rewarded myself with asparagus for dinner! Yes, us newbies are so entertained by adding veggies into our diets.....
