Anyone had a stricture??
Before I call the doctor and sound stupid, I was just wandering about the symptoms. The last 2 days I have been having problems with vomiting. My food feels stuck. It's like having that stupid band in there again. I'm chewing and eating slowly. Lunch and dinner yesterday both caused me to be in the bathroom. Lunch today did the same thing. I know this is gross but...alot of my food isn't coming up but this really thick clear looking junk. YUK I know. Just curious.

OK, I don't know if this will help but I'll chime my 2 cents in here anyways.... The thick clear junk you are bringing up is what most people post on here as "FOAMIES".....
On the note of the stricture... I am not sure of all the details, however, my doc said if I were to get a stricture it would be around 6 weeks out and I would have a lot of vomiting... Which is where you are at. I think whenever you are in doubt... CALL. Do not suffer any longer than you have to.
Good luck hope this helped a little!

That's the problem I'm having but no nausea yet. It's been 2 hours since lunch and I haven't even tried to drink anything cause I can still feel something there. I know it will come back up. I've called them and now just waiting for a return phone call.

My surgeons office told me, that any time after week 3 through month 3 we can develope a stricture. If I ever felt my ability to handle food or liquid go backwards to call. They happen, and it's better to get it addressed before it advances to the point that you cannot tolerate even liquids.
Call the surgeons office, believe me they get a lot of calls and it's part of the service you paid for, when having your surgery.
